At ZAG, investigations and tests are carried out in laboratories and sections designed in accordance with the characteristics of the products. In terms of their activities, laboratories are grouped into departments.

  • Building Physics: Addresses energy efficiency, heat and moisture transfer, and acoustics in the built environment.
  • Structures & Earthquake Engineering: Evaluates the structural integrity and seismic resilience of buildings, bridges, timber, and metal structures.
  • Fire Safety: Performs specialized fire engineering, testing, and research on materials and structures to ensure fire-safe built environments.
  • Geotechnics & Infrastructure: Monitors and researches roads, railways, tunnels, and deep foundations to prevent natural disasters like landslides.
  • Metrology: Operates a calibration laboratory for mechanical quantities to ensure the precision and accuracy of testing equipment.
