The Department of Energy at the Politecnico di Milano is a leading research and education centre dedicated to advancing the energy transition through scientific research, technological innovation, and collaboration with industry and public institutions.
The department brings together more than 500 researchers and staff, 18 research groups, and 41 laboratories covering over 8,300 m² of research infrastructure.
Its mission is to develop sustainable energy technologies, provide scientific evidence for industrial investment and public policy, and support energy security through interdisciplinary research and international partnerships.
